Sustainable is a word which is very much in vogue. Everyone wants to move towards sustainability, governments, businesses and even ordinary citizens. Dare I say it, even American citizens, who bought more Toyota Prius hybrid cars in 2007 than the top selling Sports Utility Vehicle (SUV) manufactured by Ford. People across the world have understood that climate change will be a massive problem for them and more particularly, their children so that are willing to take action and make sacrifices to secure sustainability. They are making changes in their daily lives too, recycling waste, using low-power, long-life light bulbs and some are even actively reducing the carbon footprint of their household by installing solar panels or solar heating systems in their homes. All this is important, an essential first step for what has to follow. But it will not be enough.
